Photography for private use is generally permitted outside the buildings at ruhr tech kampus essen.
Commercial photography as well as commercial filming (incl. advertising films and film productions) outside the buildings require prior registration at rtke.news@thyssenkrupp.com.

Drone photography and filming are not permitted.
The thyssenkrupp logo as well as any other trademarks, marks, company signage, lettering, or protected design elements must not be depicted, filmed, or otherwise represented under any circumstances. This applies regardless of the form of depiction and specifically includes close-up shots, detail shots, and any targeted or promotional use. If elements of trademarks or marks unavoidably appear in overall/wide shots, they must be rendered unrecognizable prior to publication, or the respective shot must not be used. The permission granted covers solely the agreed photo and film recordings of the premises and does not establish any rights of use to trademarks, logos, or other marks of thyssenkrupp.
For all photography and filming, it must be ensured that any conduct relevant under criminal law (e.g. industrial espionage, or infringement of third-party copyright or data protection rights) is ruled out. Photography and filming of access control systems, video surveillance equipment and the security control center are excluded from this permission and are generally not permitted.
