"we care" - this is our global program to promote a culture of safety and health, which we have been implementing successfully for many years and worldwide.
Hightlight: "we care" Days
One highlight are our "we care" days, which take place every year around April 28 to mark World Health and Safety Day.
Communication campaigns, events, workshop formats and tools for everyday working life help to make occupational safety and health issues an intensive topic of discussion directly at our sites.
In 2020, we used the hashtag #strongertogether to call on people around the world to work together through the pandemic and not slacken their efforts in complying with the measures, and in 2021 we focused on mental health. Because especially during the pandemic and in times of contact restrictions, it is important for us to take care of each other. For this reason, the motto of the we care Days 2021 was #howareyou. Tools and tips motivated employees to honestly ask themselves and others "How are you?" and deal with the answer. An online participation campaign invited people to try out different things that make us feel good mentally. With feedback from around 40 countries, it was a complete success.
In 2022, the focus was on teamwork. The period of contact restrictions in particular once again highlighted how important social relationships are. Good cooperation and good interaction with each other have a major impact on health and help to better master tomorrow's challenges. With #bettertogether, we have initiated an open dialog on precisely this topic.
