Procedure of the recommendation process
Step 1: Recommendation and online application
Do you know someone who would like to develop their career at BILSTEIN? In order for your recommendation to be considered, your recommended contact must apply directly online, stating your name and email address.
Step 2: Application process
Have we received your recommended contact's application? Now it's time to wait, because your contact will first go through the classic application process.
Step 3: Checking the eligibility requirements
Your recommended contact is hired? We will now check whether the eligibility requirements have been met - you can find more information on this in the section below in the conditions of participation. If the eligibility requirements have been met, you will receive information on the next steps.
Step 4: Successful recommendation - 1st part of the bonus:
Your recommendation was successful and your recommended contact had their first day of work at BILSTEIN? Great, from now on you can pick up the first part of your reward - an experience voucher - in the HR department.
Step 5: Successful recommendation - 2nd part of the bonus:
If you and your recommended contact are still BILSTEINER:INNEN after six months, you will receive your full bonus with your next payslip.
Your recommendation was successful and the person you recommended was hired? Perfect. You don't have to do anything else. From the recommended person's first day of work, you can get a experience voucher worth 100 euros.
If your recommended contact and you are still employed by BILSTEIN after six months, you will receive your bonus.
If you successfully recommend someone for a permanent position, the bonus is 1,500 euros gross. If your recommendation is considered for an apprenticeship or working student position, the bonus is 300 euros gross.
Which positions can be recommended?
Externally advertised, permanent positions as well as positions for working students and trainees for the BILSTEIN sites in Essen and Ennepetal.
Who can recommend?
All permanent employees at the BILSTEIN sites in Essen and Ennepetal who are not directly involved in the selection process (e.g. as hiring managers) as well as working students and trainees.
Who can be recommended?
All applicants who have not been employed by the thyssenkrupp Group within the last six months or have not been employed as temporary workers. In addition, family members cannot be recommended for your own team.
FAQ
Can I recommend several candidates at the same time?
Of course, several candidates can be recommended at the same time. We look forward to every recommendation that matches the advertised positions.
Is there another way to apply?
No, an application is only possible online via our application tool stating the name and 8ID of the recommending employee.
What happens if my recommended contact withdraws their application?
If your recommended contact realizes during the application process that the position is not the right one and withdraws the application, the process ends and your entitlement to a bonus is forfeited.
If we work together and we determine within the first six months that we are not a good match, you are no longer entitled to the monetary bonus and you can keep the experience voucher.
