The sale of ThyssenKrupp AG`s holding in Ruhrgas to E.ON AG was completed at the beginning of July after ministerial permission was granted. For ThyssenKrupp AG, which held a 13.48% share in Bergemann GmbH, the indirect holding in Ruhrgas AG was of no strategic importance. As Bergemann holds a 34.76% stake in Ruhrgas, ThyssenKrupp`s holding worked out at 4.68%. ThyssenKrupp AG received 486 million euros from the sale.
