ThyssenKrupp AG today announced that its offer to purchase all of the outstanding common shares of Dofasco Inc. expired at midnight (EST), on January 26, 2006, with the conditions of the offer not having been satisfied. ThyssenKrupp will not be taking up any of the common shares of Dofasco that were deposited to its offer as of the expiry time.
