ThyssenKrupp Anlagenservice maintains Corus
Oberhausen-based ThyssenKrupp Anlagenservice GmbH has been commissioned by the British/Dutch Corus Group to carry out major repair work in the pellet factory at the Ijmuiden Works, Netherlands. The total job is worth over EUR8 million and so far ThyssenKrupp Anlagenservice's biggest ever repair project.
During the four-week shutdown from mid-September to mid-October, easily more than 200 employees will be working in the Netherlands. The climax of their efforts will be the delivery and installation of a 60-meter tall stack with a diameter of more than six meters. Other jobs for the experts include pipework, the complete installation of conveyor belts including the electrical instrumentation and the replacement of bearings on the slag wagon drives.
