Returning to the roots - Traggerüstbau with new name
"With this move we are confident of being able to address even more closely today's needs of our customers. The renaming reflects a return to our roots since for decades now the name RöRo has stood worldwide for top-caliber scaffolding and shoring products and it is our intent to optimize identification between product and company," states ThyssenKrupp Xervon CEO Rolf-Bernd Maas.
RöRo Traggerüstsysteme engineers and assemblers are busy worldwide building, moving or lowering bridges, securing or supporting facades and developing special project-related structures. Customers are not offered simply standardized solutions but systems tailored to the specific construction projects, a variety of engineering technologies, and decades of site know-how. Hundred percent materials availability is ensured through central warehouses at three locations in Germany.
In contrast, other activities of the former PeinigerRöRo Group in scaffolding, corrosion proofing, and insulation services on behalf of the (petro)chemical and the power industries will in future be supplied under the new name ThyssenKrupp Xervon. The renamed group is a part of ThyssenKrupp Services AG, Düsseldorf. A workforce of 9,200 generates annual sales of around EUR 890 million of which USA/Canada and Germany/Benelux account for EUR 340 million and EUR 380 million, respectively. The Management Board consists of Rolf-Bernd Maas, Georg Kürfgen, and Hans-Rudorf Orgs.
