Production Systems: Order from Canada for Hüller Hille / Cross Hüller
Hüller Hille / Cross Hüller, the ThyssenKrupp metal cutting machine tool specialist, continues its successful restructuring. Following large orders from the North American auto industry in fall this year, another contract has just been signed. A major Canadian automotive supplier has ordered flexible machining equipment worth a total of Euro 36 million from the successful Specht agile system series.
The equipment, for machining auto cylinder heads, will be manufactured in the company's Ludwigsburg, Germany, and Port Huron, USA, plants from mid-2001 and start operation in Windsor, Canada, in early 2002.
