The following Executive Board personnel matters are to be presented to the Supervisory Board of ThyssenKrupp AG for resolution at its next meeting on May 19, 2003:

The contract of Dr. Ulrich Middelmann, Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp AG and currently appointed up to February 21, 2004, is to be extended until March 31, 2008.

Dr. Jürgen Harnisch (60), member of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp AG, is leaving the Company on expiry of his contract at April 14, 2004. His successor as member of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp AG is to be Dr. Wolfram Mörsdorf (54). At its meeting on May 15, 2003, the Supervisory Board of ThyssenKrupp Automotive AG is to appoint Dr. Mörsdorf as Chairman of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Automotive AG effective April 15, 2004. He is currently Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the US subsidiary ThyssenKrupp Budd Company and member of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Automotive. His appointment will run until April 14, 2009.

Prof. Dr. Eckhard Rohkamm (60), member of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp AG, is leaving the Company on expiry of his contract at February 21, 2004. To succeed him as Chairman of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Technologies AG, the Supervisory Board of this company is to appoint Dr. Olaf Berlien (40) at its meeting on May 16, 2003. Dr. Berlien, currently responsible for Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, Controlling and Materials Management at ThyssenKrupp AG, will remain in charge of Mergers & Acquisitions and Materials Management. Corporate Controlling will be transferred to Dr. A. Stefan Kirsten, who will continue to be responsible for Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, Accounting as well as Taxes and Customs. In line with the term of his current contract with ThyssenKrupp AG, Dr. Berlien`s appointment as Chairman of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Technologies will run until March 31, 2007.

After their retirement, Dr. Jürgen Harnisch and Prof. Dr. Eckhard Rohkamm will be available to the Company in an advisory capacity and will retain their seats on supervisory boards within the ThyssenKrupp Group.
