Materials specialist ThyssenKrupp Schulte with new office in Würzburg
"The Main-/Lower Franconia region is a very attractive business area for us. Würzburg, with its excellent infrastructure, is the hub for this region", explains ThyssenKrupp Schulte Managing Director Martin Gruber.
With a wide product spectrum comprising flat products, rolled, special and stainless steel, as well as tubes, nonferrous metals and plastics, the company - together with its international sister companies - is one of the world's leading materials service providers. Gruber adds: "We ensure not only optimum material supply, but also combine and enhance our offerings with customized solutions through to supply chain management."
System solutions are the key to this: potential customers - in particular from the industrial, trade and construction sectors - will have a single contact person to support them in the future, regardless of which material or service is involved. Sales manager Andreas Pfahler: "We want to help optimize customer business processes. In order to do this, we must think and act in a flexible and integrated way."
Customers can obtain everything from a single source: each sales employee in Würzburg can in principle access both regional warehouse locations and the large service and logistics centers in Germany. The staff are supported by ThyssenKrupp specialists from around the world. This means that complete packages can be created tailored to meet specific customer requirements.
Gruber concludes: "With the establishment of our new base, we want to make a positive contribution to the development of Main-/Lower Franconia region."
In the medium term, ThyssenKrupp Schulte plans sales of around EUR20 million in Würzburg.
