Facts

Dennis Aogo

Who is Dennis Aogo?

An exceptional kicker. And the very first elevator influencer ever. Born in Karlsruhe, he first sniffed Bundesliga air in Freiburg and developed into a German national player at HSV, fought for Schalke in the Champions League and found his former strength in Stuttgart: Dennis Aogo has had an eventful career. The now 31-year-old defender knows the ups and downs of a soccer player’s life and knows perfectly well that one should remain cool and down-to-earth both in triumph and in the greatest defeat.
This is another reason why today, Dennis Aogo is donating 2 percent of his salary to the Common Goal initiative, which supports social projects in the field of soccer. That's real fair play. And the reason we know: We can't get past Dennis Aogo in the search for our elevator influencer.

Common Goal

Common Goal, what do they do?

The mission? Making the world a better place through soccer. That’s what the Common Goal initiative is about and soccer players, managers and fans share this mission. The members of the initiative donate at least one percent of their annual salary to a collective fund awarded to charitable organizations around the world.
Founder of Common Goal is streetfootballworld. Over the last 15 years, the organization has built a global network of more than 120 local charities. They use soccer as an instrument to address social issues - from gender equality in India to peace-building in Colombia and the integration of refugees in Germany. All in all: the perfect recipient for the collected donations in the #aufwärtsspiel.
