We work together – confidently, openly and with the aim of learning and growing together. Become part of our team.

For us, engineering is a way of thinking – and the way to more efficient, sustainable and intelligent solutions to every problem.

From Amazon to e-Bay to Walmart: Online shops are now part of our digital lives. As an industrial enterprise, thyssenkrupp doesn’t sell books or shoes – but customers big and small can now order our materials online, even in very small quantities. thyssenkrupp’s “materials4me” online shop and numerous other projects show that digitization is no longer the exclusive domain of start-ups and service companies.

One of the biggest challenges of the transition to renewables is finding a way of storing energy from solar plants and wind turbines so that the power grid can be kept in balance during periods when there is no sun or wind. Our smart energy storage systems can bridge supply gaps on the grid. This contribution to sustainability has been recognized by CDP, which included us on its list of climate protection leaders once again in 2017.

Having the courage to question the way things are is the first step towards creating something exceptional. With MULTI, our rope-free elevator system, thyssenkrupp is pushing back the boundaries of conventional installations to allow cabs to move sideways as well as up and down. Therefore, the elevator of the future will be the ideal way of getting from A to B, even from building to building.

The best thing a smart mind can do is work together with other smart minds. And that’s exactly what we do. Every day.
