#hack4tk is organized by thyssenkrupp AG, thyssenkrupp Allee 1, 45143 Essen, Germany.
Participation in #hack4tk requires an online registration at: hack4tk.thyssenkrupp.com. Registrations must be made by 01.07.2019 (closing date) at the latest.
The participant affirms that the personal data provided by him in the course of registration, in particular first name, surname and email address, are true and correct.
Eligible to participate are all natural persons who are resident in Germany and have reached the age of 18. A valid photo ID (e.g. identity card, driving licence) must be brought to the event as proof. If such an identity card cannot be presented, the organizer may refuse participation. Excluded from participation are all persons involved in the conception and implementation of the #hack4tk. Registrations that do not comply with these conditions of participation are invalid and will be excluded from participation. The same applies to participants who make use of unauthorized aids or attempt to gain advantages through other manipulations. In such cases, prizes may be withdrawn and reclaimed - even retroactively if necessary. The participation in the #hack4tk is free of charge.
The participant guarantees that the work results created by him in the context of the #hack4tk do not violate penal laws, copyright, ancillary copyright or other intellectual property rights as well as personality rights of third parties.
By accepting these terms and conditions, the participant irrevocably declares his or her consent, without separate remuneration, to the processing, reproduction, distribution and public presentation of all or part of the material (in particular interviews) recorded by him or her in image and sound during the #hack4tk, in the context of reporting on the #hack4tk, without any time or place limitations. This consent applies to all types of use in which the image/sound material is to be published for reporting purposes, regardless of the technology used, in particular in press releases and on the organizer's websites and social media channels, as well as in the context of the organizer's internal communications (intranet).
The organizer commits to observing the legal provisions of data protection, in particular the Telemedia Act and the Federal Data Protection Act. The data entered in the registration form will be collected, processed and used exclusively by the organizer for the purposes of participation and for the distribution or processing of prizes.
All personal data will be completely deleted after the #hack4tk has been completed and the winnings have been successfully processed.
Each participant is free at any time to request information about the data collected from him or her or to have it corrected, deleted or, if necessary, blocked. A deletion or blocking of the data of a participant leads to his/her retroactive exclusion from the #hack4tk.

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies with the express exclusion of international private law and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Essen. Legal recourse is excluded.
