ThyssenKrupp multiple award-winner
At the award ceremony for the German Prize for Business Communication held in Berlin on June 7, ThyssenKrupp AG was a multiple prize-winner. The company's website was honored in the "Best Online Communications" category, while further awards were presented to the Group for "Best Communication of Corporate Social Responsibility" for its "Discovering future technology" initiative as well as for "Best Communication of Brand Policy".
The prize is awarded annually to companies with particularly innovative and coherent communications concepts. The jury comprises an interdisciplinary team of students from Berlin's University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft) under the patronage of the mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit. 939 German companies took part in this year's competition, showing the great interest in dialogue between the student and business communities. In the opinion of the jury, ThyssenKrupp AG has an "outstanding internet website" .
This was the second award for the company's website in recent weeks. The "Discover ThyssenKrupp" site also received a gold medal at the Golden Award in Montreux, which has been honoring the best and most creative performances from the areas of TV, music and advertising for 16 years. The competition is run in conjunction with the renowned "Golden Rose" TV festival. There were more than 2,500 entries from 28 countries, judged by a jury from 13 nations.
