The Swedish company has 26,000 employees and sales of euros5.3 billion and is engaged in the fields of compressors, industrial and electrical tools as well as construction and drilling equipment. Atlas Copco intends to integrate Krupp Berco Bautechnik in its Construction Tools Division, thus augmenting its existing product range.

The successful Essen-based company (sales: euros65 million, employees: 420) produces hydraulic hammers, cutters and pulverizers for demolition and mining. Integration in the Atlas Copco group will give Berco Bautechnik an outstanding platform from which to continue its successful activities.
