Hamburg / Emden, October 2, 2008
On October 2, without having been christened first, the second of a series of 3,400 TEU container ships was launched at TKMS Blohm + Voss Nordseewerke – a company of ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems – in Emden. Immediately after floating up, the ship was hauled to the outfitting pier where it will be berthed until delivery at the end of December.

On October 8 the next ship of the same type – yard number 558 – will be laid down to be built for the shipping company Hartmann, Leer.
