Navigation
Main and sub-menu (navigation on the left-hand side): The content of the first menu level (sections) can be accessed via the navigation on the left-hand side of the screen. You can also navigate within the selected section here.
Service menu (top edge of the screen): You can select the language and view the content of the website in a larger font via the service menu at the top. Here you can also access the sitemap listing all the pages in the report.
Service menu (below the navigation on the left-hand side): The service menu offers search functionality, links to contacts, downloads and the order form for the Annual Report, as well as our desktop calendar and date cards indicating upcoming financial calendar dates.
Footer navigation: The footer contains a link to the legal notes and website credits, and access to the ThyssenKrupp AG homepage. Links to the printer-friendly version and social bookmarks can also be found here.
Search
Use the search field in the service menu to access the internal search engine for the online Annual Report. Enter your search term in the field. The results will be displayed as a list in descending order of relevance.
Language
The online Annual Report is available in German and English. You can switch between languages via the “English”/“Deutsch” links in the menu at the top of every page.
Downloads
You can access the download area for the online Annual Report via the “Downloads” link in the service menu. Here you can download the full version or individual sections of the relevant publication in PDF format. The most important tables in the document are also provided here in XLS format (Microsoft Excel). The figures will be formatted in Excel in accordance with the country settings on your computer.
The print function is available on every page. Click on the “Printer-friendly version” link in the footer navigation for a version of the page which has been optimized for printing (without navigation or other page elements).
Comparison of performance indicators
You can display the Group’s performance indicators over the last five years via the Comparison of performance indicators function.

Extra-wide images are shown at a reduced size and can be enlarged by clicking on them. The image will then be displayed at a larger size in a new browser window or as an overlay.

The website can be displayed in different font sizes. The letter A appears three times in different sizes in the service menu at the top of the screen. These symbols allow the website to be shown in a larger/smaller font size and returned to the original font size.
Prior-year comparison
You can compare the content of every page with the corresponding page in the previous year’s report via the “This page in the online Annual Report 2009-2010” link.
Social bookmarks
Select your preferred web service in the menu to access its homepage/login page. Once you have logged in/registered successfully, you can share the online Annual Report and add comments.
Recommended additional programs and plug-ins
PDF documents: You will need a PDF viewer, e.g. Adobe Reader to view PDF files. (Download from the manufacturer website free of charge)
Video and interactive comparison of performance indicators: You will need the Adobe Flash Player to view the animated graphics and video sequences. (Download the plug-in from the manufacturer website free of charge)
ZIP files (archives): You will need a tool to unzip these files, e.g. 7-ZIP. (Download from the manufacturer website free of charge)
XLS files: To use Excel files you will need a program that can display them, e.g. Microsoft Excel Viewer. (Download from the manufacturer website free of charge)
