The early business relationships between ThyssenKrupp and Argentina go back to the year 1886, when Henschel supplied the first locomotives to Argentina. In the 1970s and 1980s business with Argentina focused mainly on plants.

Today, most of our sales are generated in the area of steel trade and processing. Additionally ThyssenKrupp has local companies in the areas plant technology and elevator. Together, these companies employ 245 people.
