The early business relationships between ThyssenKrupp and Argentina go back to the year 1886, when Henschel supplied the first locomotives to Argentina. In the 1970s and 1980s business with Argentina focused mainly on plant engineering.
Today, ThyssenKrupp owns local companies in the fields of plant technology and elevator. Together, these companies employ more than 180 people.
