Rasselstein GmbH is a subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp Steel AG. The company is the only German tinplate manufacturer and one of the three largest European tinplate suppliers. The company has a global market share of approx. 6 %. In its 2007/2008 business year the company shipped 1,501,000 tonnes of tinplate, chromium coated material and uncoated products. Exports account for about 70 percent of production. The company serves about 400 customers in over 80 countries worldwide.
