Carola von Schmettow new member of the Supervisory Board of ThyssenKrupp AG
Carola von Schmettow is to succeed Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr.-Ing. E.h. Dr. h.c. Ekkehard Schulz as member of the Supervisory Board of ThyssenKrupp AG. In its meeting on January 20, 2012, the Supervisory Board of ThyssenKrupp AG approved a corresponding proposal by the nomination committee. Carola von Schmettow is a member of the management board of HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG. Until the 2013 Annual General Meeting, when she will put herself up for election by the Annual General Meeting, Ms. von Schmettow is to be a court-appointed member of the Supervisory Board.
