Contract extension for Dr. Ekkehard Schulz
The appointment of Dr. Schulz as Member and Chairman of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp AG runs until January 23, 2009. At its meeting today the Supervisory Board of ThyssenKrupp AG pronounced itself in favor of extending Dr. Schulz’s appointment as Member and Chairman of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp AG from January 24, 2009 until the close of the day of the Annual General Meeting of ThyssenKrupp AG which resolves on the company’s annual financial statements for the 2009/2010 fiscal year. The Supervisory Board will pass the corresponding resolution after January 23, 2008.
