Deutsches Museum
ThyssenKrupp actively participates in fostering Germany’s role as a center of technology and education.
In particular we want to motivate families, children and young people to step inside the fascinating world of science and technology and find out about the wide-ranging opportunities it has to offer. The Deutsches Museum is one organization which has been making a valuable contribution to this for decades.
Some of the exhibits for the 2006 Ideas Park were loaned by the Deutsches Museum.
To ensure that the Deutsches Museum remains an important international address for science and technology in the future, the “Deutsches Museum initiative for the future” has been launched. The objective of the initiative is to secure solid financing for necessary renovation measures to enable the Deutsches Museum to continue to carry out its education and research tasks in an attractive and contemporary way in the future. As one of the seven founding members of the Deutsches Museum initiative for the future, ThyssenKrupp is involved in establishing the prerequisites for receiving public funding for the renovation of the museum.
