United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is an important market for ThyssenKrupp. Especially for our Business Area Elevator Technology the United Arab Emirates is a promising market in both the installation and servicing of elevator systems. Supplying Dubai airport with passenger transportation systems (elevators, escalators, moving walks and passenger boarding bridges) is just one example of many prestige projects. The Group also has a strong presence in the facility services sector (e.g. insulation, fire protection, corrosion protection etc.). Our activities in the United Arab Emirates include subsidiaries and affiliated companies as well as a Group Representative Office in Dubai, which also acts as contact for the Middle East and Egypt. Presently there are more than 1,800 ThyssenKrupp employees in the Emirates.
