In addition, Plant Technology has also invested in yet more on-site competence in the form of subsidiaries and international partnerships which enable us to keep up with the ever-increasing number of customers on the world market. Uhde's special brand of corporate performance and efficiency is based on the fact that the company can offer complete production lines in many technological fields and has consequently accumulated a wealth of experience in dealing with process-related tasks.
Furthermore, our various central divisions enable us to provide additional services which include plant location selection, the arrangement of financing schemes, negotiations with authorities, plant management, maintenance, safety analyses, safety technology, training of operating personnel and project management.

Among the focal points: (petro)chemical complexes. Plant Technology supports its customers in the production of fertilizers and in electrolysis, gas, conveyor and coking plant technology. Our companies have also made a name for themselves as lead-players in such specialty fields as polymer processes, in the engineering of refineries and in innovative applications for the pharmaceutical industry. Other areas of emphasis are cement plants, complex systems for open-cut mining, turn-key powertrain assembly systems for the automobile industry as well as Transrapid components. The business unit's specialists work around the globe: not only engineering highly complex plant but also supplying the necessary equipment and providing quality after-sales service.In the international plant construction industry, it is essential for companies to provide first-class processes which guarantee industrial plant operators an optimum in quality and operational economy.
