One of us. Dipl. Ing. Ramsis Shehata.

He's managing director of ThyssenKrupp Fördertechnik Canada.

Ramsis Shehata and his team develop equipment and high-tech materials to mine oil sands in the northwest of Canada.

For example, they engineer and install ore crushers capable of reducing frozen materials at temperatures as low as minus 50 degrees Celsius. Thanks to advanced steel alloys, the crusher teeth today last for six months; 25 years ago they were worn smooth after eight hours.
