Clemens Iller
Chairman of the Management Board of Business Area Stainless Global of ThyssenKrupp AG
Born in 1960, degree in business administration at the University of Tübingen, graduated as a "Diplom-Kaufmann" in 1988.
Career:
After his degree, Mr. Iller gained professional experience as a divisional manager/marketing & sales manager in medium-sized companies from January 1989 to May 1995. In June 1995 he joined the ThyssenKrupp Group and held the position of General Manager Export Sales at Rasselstein Hoesch GmbH until May 1999. In June 1999 he moved to ThyssenKrupp Stahl AG as head of the heavy plate sales department.
In October 1999 he assumed responsibility for the heavy plate (sales) operating group and subsequently, in January 2003, became vice president of the Heavy Plate Profit Center. In March 2004, Mr. Iller moved to ThyssenKrupp Electrical Steel GmbH as member of the Executive Board and became its Chairman in December 2005. In April 2006 he also became member of the Management Board of Eisen- und Hüttenwerke AG.
Since September 01, 2009, Mr. Iller has been CEO of the Stainless Global business area of ThyssenKrupp AG and Chairman of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Nirosta GmbH.
