		1965 Establishment of Fried. Krupp Hüttenwerke AG and expansion of steel basis.

		1968 Conversion of the sole proprietorship into Fried. Krupp GmbH.

1969 Spezialization through cooperation.

		1970 Expansion through horizontal diversification.

1973 Growth into a conglomerate focused on steel, capital goods, trading and services.

		1976 State of Iran acguires interset in Fried. Krupp GmbH.

1978 Internationalization and further vertical diversification.

		1982 Reorganization and expansion.

1983 Thyssen AG concentration on group management functions and spin-off of steel activities into Thyssen Stahl AG.

1991/92 Expansion of Thyssen Aufzüge trough acquisition in Europe and North America.

		1992 Merger of Fried. Krupp AG with Hoesch AG to form Fried. Krupp AG Hoesch-Krupp.

1996 Concentration on core businesses.
