Some 4,290 young people are currently training in over 70 different trades at ThyssenKrupp throughout Germany. Among them are prospective wholesalers, import and export merchants, draftsmen, IT systems engineers, chemical laboratory assistants, foundry technicians, mecatrinics - the list goes on.
But as well as offering a wide range of trades, we also take on a large number of trainees. In 2006/2007 alone over 1,171 young people started training with us. Throughout Germany ThyssenKrupp has 38 apprentice training shops and a further 95 specialized training centers, which alone employ round about 184 full-time teaching staff.
