Rapid industrial expansion within the Gulf States and the continued international demand to make use of the region's natural resources has made the Middle East an important strategic market for ThyssenKrupp. Our Group participates in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Bahrain via local companies and one group representative office. ThyssenKrupp has about 2,200 employees in this region. In addition, all our Group's companies serve customers in the region and are actively involved in supporting the development process of industry and infrastructure.
