ThyssenKrupp has been present in Spain for some 150 years. In fiscal year 2008/2009, ThyssenKrupp generated total sales with customers in Spain of almost €1.5 billion. Taking Range 5, Spain is one of the Top Ten of our foreign markets.
The Group today has a workforce of nearly 6,170 people in the country, most of them in manufacturing companies. All of the Group's segments have their own companies in Spain. Elevator has the most powerful presence with more than 5,000 employees.
