Sweden

As a result of the merger in the area of Marine Systems, the Group today has about 1,300 employees in Sweden. Around 930 people work at our shipyard Kockums AB in Malmö. In addition, ThyssenKrupp is present with local companies in the areas steel, materials and elevator.

As in the previous years, a major part of our sales in generated with sale of rolled steel and stainless steel products. Total sales to customers in Sweden amounted to about €660 million in fiscal year 2010/2011.
