Austria

Austria is an important and rising market for ThyssenKrupp. In fiscal year 2010/2011, sales to customers in Austria totaled €720 million. Local companies in Austria - mainly in the areas elevator, materials trading and industrial services - currently employ 900 people. Despite the increasing and significant presence of the Group in the Central and Eastern European countries, some Austrian ThyssenKrupp companies are the starting point for our Group's business activities in this region.
