School building for children in Chengdu

Following the dramatic earthquake in the Chinese province of Sichuan in May 2008, ThyssenKrupp provided financial support for a rebuilding project. With our support, a school for disabled children will now be built in the city of Chengdu, which was particularly severely affected by the earthquake.

Children in Chengdu are benefiting from ThyssenKrupp's support.

In addition, as on many other occasions, the Group's employees again took the initiative and organized their own campaigns to collect donations.
