China is ThyssenKrupp's most important market in Asia. Currently we employ more than 13,000 people there in our local subsidiaries and Representative Offices. The Group's sales to customers in China amounted to almost €2 billion in fiscal year 2010/2011. Since fiscal year 2006/07 the group grew thus with an average of 13.2% per year. From steel mills to elevators, steering columns to corrosion protection, we have a wide spectrum of activities in China.

The country represents an attractive market for our technologically advanced, high-quality products and services. ThyssenKrupp's wide-ranging activities in China are concentrated in a national holding company which is registered in Beijing.
