Australia
Australia is one of the traditional sales markets of the ThyssenKrupp Group. Railway tires and rail/track systems were supplied to Australia back in 1865. Today the majority of sales to customers in Australia are from the Services and Technologies segments.
Nearly all segments have local companies in Australia which employ around 490 people. This allows ThyssenKrupp to offer rolled steel and pipes/tubes, marine systems, machinery and equipment for mining and processing ores and minerals, petrochemical plants, elevators and escalators as well as nickel alloys through our Australian subsidiaries.
